About me:
I am a 27 year old mother of 3 boys . I have been married for 5 years and my husband is in the military. He is a Submariner and is out to sea alot, so time with my hubby is not so often. I have two idols in the culinary world. I don't not know where I would be without Alton Brown. He has taught me so much about EVERYTHING and his personality clicks with mine ( I even got my husband into cooking through him!) Also, Martha, I'm sorry but I love Martha! She has definitely helped shaped my 'housewife' ways...lol.. from cooking, to decorating to organization. Martha and Alton.. I love you!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed on Nov. 30, 2008 by ellasequema
This made some great, old fashioned pancakes! The only thing I did differently was to add a dash of vanilla and an extra tsp of sugar; we like our pancakes on the sweet side. Ours came out very fluffy and tender. Loved them!

Hearty Jambalaya

Reviewed on Nov. 17, 2008 by Aunt Lynda
My family loves this recipe, they are always thankful when I make this. The other night I did not have enough rice so I decided to try it with some pasta. I don't remember what the name of it was but it had very thin strands that where about 1 cm long each. I enjoyed it with pasta and would recommend that others try it for a change instead of the rice.
