Southern Candied Sweet Potatoes

These were good, my neighbor brought some with crushed pecans on top that were a little better. I had to remove the lid for the sauce to thicken.

Pork Chops with Blue Cheese Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2008
I fried the pork chops as recommended by the Allrecipes site, in oil & butter, seasoned and floured. What I really am reviewing is the blue cheese gravy. Yum. This was very rich and tasty. I will make this again. My husband really liked this combo.

Soft Christmas Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2008
yum yum yum!!!! Oh my gosh these came out wonderful. I had made a batch of another extremely highrated recipie on here, and they came out very bland. i had to chuck that dough and make these- i'm so glad i did. theyre sweet, soft, and light. i did up the sugar to just under 2 cups and cut the flour down to three. baked at 350 for 6 minutes and topped with some red and green sugar before baking, just heavenly.....excuse me, i must go eat more now.

Crustless Cranberry Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2008
saw this recipe and thought i had to try it i just happen to have 2 bags of frozen cranberrys in my freezer which i had plans on making something else with them but i saw this and had to try it ran down stairs and threw the berrys in the strainer to thaw while making dinner. i followed the recipe but i did add 1 tsp cinnamon and 2 dashes of nutmeg didnt have almond so i used vanilla have to have cinnamon..LOL anyway i also had to let it cook an extra 5 minutes. it turned out wonderful i didnt have any walnuts. but i was in a hurry i had to try this so next time i will add probably some pastachio nuts , i made two tonight . one in a 9 inch pie pan and the other in a 8x8 glass square baking dish , i am taking one to share with my co workers tomorrow and we have one for us here at home. so simple and easy to make whips up in a flash.. i tryed it both with a spoon of ice cream and with out both ways are great. thanks for sharing this recipe.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2008
These leave you wanting more. I did use 1.5 cups of flour rather than 1.25 cause the dough needed a little more body. Otherwise, they're awesome.

AWSOME!!! Such a good, inexpensive meal! I did not have a problem with them sticking together, I used the suggestion of using olive oil on my hands, great idea! I will make them and freeze for lunch!

Molasses Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2008
This is a simple to make and delicious cookie. I followed the recipe completely with the exception of adding a bit of fresh ginger. I used baking stone which did not need to be greased and extended the baking time to 10 minutes. They turned out perfectly....pretty to the eye and delecious to eat.
