Double Tomato Bruschetta

A delicious and easy appetizer. The balsamic vinegar gives it a little bite. Dried basil can be substituted but it is best with fresh.

If you are looking for a Italian bread dip, try this. It makes a spectacular bread dip, suitable for any occasion. Double or triple the recipe to make enough for a crowd. Serve with warm French bread. 

Bruschetta II

A little French ...a little Italian ...and the end result is a sensational appetizer. A scrumptious spinach/basil pesto is whirled in the food processor until of spreading consistency. Slices of baguette are lightly toasted and then anointed with the pesto.
